Our group carried on with the adage section of a ballet class. Compared to the first exercise we previously went through, we started on a new move, which is called Arabesque.

At first I struggled with keeping my waist facing the front, but after I saw a fellow dancer do it, it gave me the confidence and challenge to complete it, which I worked on throughout the lesson. I improved this very thoroughly looking into each body part, and making sure they are in the right place.

After this we performed two barre exercises, the plie and the kick motif. This time we didn't use the barres, this was to develop corsability and improve balance. Ironically I found the second position easier without the barres, as I had no obstructions.
